Rodeo Road: A little old, a little new

Our last youth rodeo was an adventure of a little bit of old mixed with a little new. The kids did all their usual events (and were super-fab of course!), and Sissy picked up a new event, too: dummy roping. And no, she wasn't roping the Old Man. (ha, ha! How much ya wanna bet he doesn't think that's nearly as funny as I do?)
My rodeo crew relaxing while we wait on the dummy roping to start...
No catches, but we're still smiling...and that's what counts...
The it's on to the goat tail tying...
Which is also Bubby's 1st event (7th place!)
Then we saddle up for the barrel racing (1st place again for Sissy!)
The Bubby & Beavis take their turn (4th place!)
Then on to the pole bending, where Sissy got a no time...but she corrected her horse and got right back on track. I was impressed!
Bubby gave his 3rd place run a big thumbs up...
Also, great runs in the down & back for both and the advanced goat tail tying for Sissy!!

And all the while, Baby Boy smiles.
Next rodeo? It's the special Cruel Girl Jeans & Cinch Jeans Rodeo. Sissy is ready!!
