What momma DOESN'T love taking her kidders to the playground?
I mean, for one thing, they magically become responsible for their OWN entertainment instead of ME being responsible for their entertainment!Doesn't Baby Boy look like he's having fun?
It's always a welcome break.
But seldom is that break more welcome and necessary than while you are involved in some other kind of all-day, fun outing when the kids get cranky and restless in the afternoon and everyone is ready to scream and/or cry. And that includes the momma.
That's part of why this playground earns my seal of approval as the "Best Little Playground in Indiana."
It's located deep in the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the FFA Building...and perfect for an afternoon break!
Baby Boy was stoked when he saw the big green tractor that was just his size.
It's truly a hidden treasure, because as you can see, it was none too crowded and perfect for my little ones to relax and let off a little steam.
Then it was back to the slide for Baby Boy...it was his favorite. But where were Sissy & Bubby while Baby Boy was enjoying the play equipment and tractor? They were playing indoor miniature golf with the Old Man and Gal in the Middle's newphew...another big bonus for this little playground! And, each golf hole had cool ag facts, so it was educational, too!
After golfing, Bubby joined in the fun and was immediately drawn to the wood and construction area.
They loved building with the 2x4s cut into life-sized Lincoln Logs!
Even Sissy enjoyed hanging around...
Until we were recharged and ready to head back to the midway for more food and fun!
Disclosure: The Indiana Soybean Alliance provided a family 4-pack of tickets to give away on my blog as well as tickets for my family to attend the state fair. Our meals were provided by Indiana Dairy and Indiana Pork producers. And they were delicious.

Hi Jane, It's good you found this little playground. Your little boy face is radiating joy and happiness - just as I'm sure you were. :)
