Bloggy friends are awesome friends, too!

The Old Man says I need to get our more. He says I need to hang out with friends my age from around here. I do have friends here...good friends. Some I've met recently and some I've known most of my life. But when push comes to shove and I need a shoulder to cry on or someone to laugh with, my phone self-dials one of my two bffs: Gal in the Middle or the Bathtub Mama. And when I need a shopping partner, I usually take my mom....or Sisssy....or Bubby (NOT Baby Boy)...or I plan a shopping extravaganza with Gal or Mama...or both!

So I'm not sure what his thoughts were when he found out I had a new friend...one who made tears come to my eyes with her thoughtfulness. Whose package arrived in the mail on a day when I seriously needed a lift to my spirits. One who is from Baltimore....not exactly close to here.

I won this cool book on Blogging for Bliss that she recently gave away:

And not only did she send me the book, she sent me the sweetest little note, tons of stickers for scrapbooking all tucked in the pages of the book, and a darling little bracelet I sported with pride on my birthday over the weekend. I managed to beat the kidders back away from the stickers, but do you know that their favorite part of my package was?

See the awesome green witch finger on the amazing Halloween tree she made? I got a gold sparkly one tied up oh-so-cutely on my package! This kids love it...and were chasing each other around poking each other with it until I confiscated it from them for the finger's safety and my sanity.
