To him, it was almost as good as a trip to Disney World!
He loved the little display cases with all the Star Wars toys...like Cade Bane & his speeder battling the Mandalorians (yours for only $50!?!?)
Or an Imperial Cruiser (yours for $40?!?!)
But this was their favorite by far: the Death Star...
They dreamed and drooled and ooh-ed and ah-ed...
And they'll have to keep dreaming since it costs $450?!?! to take this puppy home. But it's still fun to look at!
So after looking at PloKoon's star fighter, the snow monster from Hoth, General Grievous's starfighter and the Clone Turbo Tank (another whopping expensive one!), what did he get? Just a little tiny playset of a Clone Walker attack: $12. Hey, he used his own allowance (and thankfully the ones labeled for younger kids are the little "cheap" sets!). But he was happy with his trip, so all was good. Momma was just a little traumatized at the cost of some of these "big boy toys."

I've heard you talk about the Death Star but couldn't really visualize so thanks for the photo! Still can't believe it's that expensive!
ReplyDeletei wish we had one of those near us!
ReplyDeleteThere is NO way I will let my son see this blog post! His drooling over those Legos would short out my laptop! :) You just won the cool mom of the year award!
