No, I'm not talking about THAT. I just don't seem to have much to say today...kind of on the bummed side. My mom started chemo this week and has been doing super-fab, with hardly any side effects but extreme cold sensitivity. So good that she made me run her all over town SHOPPING for nearly 5 hrs after her 1st 6-hour treatment Tuesday. But now some more of the side effects are catching up with her. She'd bummed, I'm bummed, we're all bummed together.
So today I'm just posting some quick shots from her 65th birthday last week.
We celebrated with cupcakes from Coldstone Creamery.
Lots of help blowing out the candles!!
And plenty of snuggles for Grandma....
And kisses...
OK, enough with the paparazzi-stuff, momma!
Those are wonderful pictures! I hope things go well for your mom, considering. Sending all good thoughts ... :)
ReplyDeletePrecious photos ... you can see a lot of love on all of those faces. Tell your mom we're praying for her!

Have a great weekend
Prayers to both of you. I hope you both feel better soon. Sounds like a rough time. It is the weekend though hopefully that helps!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Mom. My brother in law is on his 3rd round tomorrow and so far so good but we are worrying about him. My niece is visting me for 2 months just to give her a little bit of a vacation as a college student. I hope this is the worst of the side effects and that she recouperates fast.

I'm so sorry. Prayers going up that the side effect don't get any worse and she is in the clear ASAP!
ReplyDeleteLots of prayers are being said at this pig pen for all of you. We have been there with both of my Aunts and it is not fun. Try to keep positive and take care of yourself.
