Beware of animals

What's it like hanging with my family? It's like living (or in this case, traveling) with a pack of animals!
The kids loved their safari-themed gear thoughtfully provided by ANC for dinner and bowling during our trip to the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells.
Right down to the animal-print slap bracelets...which brought about my own childhood flashbacks.
They even knew which one was a natural monkey. But they forgot the extra monkey hat for the Old Man.

Now I'm not a bowler. Not even on my Wii. And I have a serious aversion to losing, so I don't normally like bowling with the Old Man. But he was one of the walking wounded during our trip and nursing a deep muscle tear in his calf. I figure that put us on about even footing.
This bowling alley was high-tech by Holmes County standards...they even had large screen tvs for watching the game while we bowled. The kids thought it was a blast!
I know you can't see it real well, but the C at the top of the screen on the left if the Old Man: 107. Now I normally consider it a good game for me to break 100 (when I'm not using the kids' bumper guards that is). But that's me on the right screen at the top: 136. I had to take a picture to prove it happened. Just once. Let me enjoy the moment. Oh, and share it with the rest of the world, too. Aaahhhhh.
