Thursday night is game night at the Houin house. We set aside some family time to play board games, card games or sometimes play Wii. Just not Lego Star Wars...that only gets played on the weekends or I would rapidly lose what's left of my mind. No joke.
Last week my baby brother & mom came over to play with us...an exciting night of Wii Fit.
Sissy got the camera out to take pics. I bet my brother loves the one of him....
Here's Sissy's little mii on the obstacle course. Ain't she cute?
Run, Sissy, run!
Watch out for the swinging balls!
Even the Old Man got in on the fun.
I reigned as obstacle course queen all night...until the very last turn, when my baby brother stole my crown. Story of my life. End result? Baby brother bought his own Wii this week and my mom bought a Wii Fit to go with it. Cause we had so much fun? Probably. For my mom's exercise equipment reimbursement at work? That was part of it, too.
But I secretly think my little brother will sneak off to practice in secret to try to rob me of all of my Wii Fit crowns. To which I say, "Bring it, little brother!" A little competition may be just what I need to get movin' on the Fit again! :)
We don't have a Wii, but we're thinking Santa may need to bring one this Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteHave you made it to the ice level yet on the obstacle course? It' a real....well.... it's VERY challenging! The girls and I were doing the hula hoop game one evening last winter while Steve was still in the hospital recovering from back surgery. I had to call him to say I had beaten his all time hula hoop score! He didn't sound as excited as I did ;-) LOVE that game. Try Dance on Broadway for Christmas. It has one song out of all the choices that has the word @$$ in it, "Bend and Snap!" from Leagally Blonde I believe, but other than that little bleep, it is tons of fun! You even get to do the Time Warp! WOOO!!! I mean Wiiiii! ;-)
ReplyDeletei don't have a wii but this sure sounds so fun!! have a good weekend!
