Now Bubby's teacher requested no gifts for her...just gifts for the classroom. She suggested several, but I thought this was fun:
The school mascot is a Knight, and it gave me a chance to use up some of my extra scrapbook supplies that have been lying around AND play with my (relatively) new Cricut! I used the slotted tag feature on the standard George alphabet cartridge for the letters, then threaded a half-inch strip of paper through for the ribbon. I used the Paper Doll cartridge for the knight and traced his accent cuts with marker. I mounted them with my Creative Memories tape runner in a 10 x 13 front loading frame. All in all, pretty simple for something the kids can enjoy in the classroom!
Now obviously, the name "Eichelberger" doesn't leave a lot of extra room, but I did have some extra room for Sissy's class:
Same deal, only this time I drew in a small pennant for the knight to hold.
So, what do you think? Will the teachers and kids be happy? I also might have tossed in a Mickey-shaped rice crispy treat from Disney World for the teachers today, too. :)
The kids aren't taking them in until tomorrow, so if you happen to be...or know...one of these lovely ladies, please don't tell...or at least act surprised. :)

Hmmm.....maybe when I get my "craft" room set up, there might be space for such a fun toy! Looks great! Are you making the transition from the south back up to the north!
