Start off by unrolling your pizza crust on a cutting board...around 9" x 12" for a regular crust, a little larger if you go the thin-crust route.
Now we practically inhale pepperoni around here, so we buy the jumbo bag instead of the cute little packages. I just grabbed a big handful and chopped it up.
Next layer 1 1/2 cups cheese onto the crust. Any pizza blend will work. My recipe called for 1 cup Mozarella and 1/2 cup Parmesan. I found a blend at Target of Mozarella and Parmesan together. And I might have used the full two cups that came in the package instead of just the 1 1/2 cups. Just so ya know. Then layer on the chopped pepperoni and roll it up into a nice long log, starting with the long side. Moisten the edge with water and seal the seam shut. Cut the log into 1-inch slices and place them about 1 inch apart on a lightly greased pan.

Bake these little puppies at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
While those are baking, warm up your spaghetti sauce. It's going to be for dipping. I just heated mine up in the microwave. But I'm kind of lazy like that.
Ta da! There ya go! Cute, yummy, kid-friendly supper for you and your little ones. To be honest, the Old Man was drooling over them more than the kids by the time we were done.
Here's a printable recipe so you can give it a try, too:

Love it! These would be great to serve the youth group too!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I was worried that you had forgotten the pizza sauce for a bit there....never should have doubted you.
ReplyDeleteYummo! Just saw these on Hunk of Meat Monday. I gotta say these are an easy recipe I can whip up with my kids. Thanks!
