Bubby Time: Clone Wars surprise!
So yesterday I told you how Bubby, Gal & I spent some quality time at the Children's Museum, right? Now here's the really awesome part: they had a Star Wars exhibit!!
We went over last summer when their Star Wars Clone Wars exhibit first came out...but they had apparently extended the exhibit's run.
It was a totally unexpected and awesome surprise! Even Obiwon looks thrilled. :)
Bubby was thrilled to pose with all the Clone Wars characters...even if the villians like Jabba and Ventress do not look so thrilled.
Gal and I both agreed that they had added some new features. We were kind of disappointed in it last summer.
Or maybe it was just our joyous surprise that made this visit seem more exciting since it wasn't expected. That's Anakin with his padawan learner Ahsoka above... kind of like I'm the Frugalista's padawan learner...
That's Bubby with Boba Fett...one of his favorites. Just wait till you see his new backpack for kindergarden.
Here Bubby is checking out all the different character's lightsabers. Maybe they need a lightsaber repair expert like me...
Now Gal gets schooled in all the different weaponry...
I love the look on Mace Windu's face...
Bubby liked seeing the Emporer's costume...until he spotted R2D2 and C3PO across the hall...
He had to pose with his Gal with 3PO and Captain Rex (Rex is a fave of Gal's nephews, too...and this wasn't even the 1st time she got to meet Rex!).
The Clone Wards exhibit absolutely made Bubby's day!

You should go to one of their Star Wars Saturday events. They have all the characters walking around the museum and special activities for the kids. Sam loved it last year!
