Christmas trees around the "World"

My mom sent me an e-mail this morning with pictures of gorgeous Christmas trees from around the world. They were so beautiful! So that got me thinking...maybe you'd like a look at the different Christmas trees we saw last week from around the "World"......Disney World, that is!

This little photo setting was right in Downtown Disney (and remember, admission to this Disney shopping mecca is free if you ever find yourself in Orlando with some time to kill). There were lots of beautiful trees in Downtown Disney, and I wasn't thinking clearly or I would have take pictures of more. I think my favorite was located right between the Earl of Sandwich and Once Upon a Toy...an enormous beuty decorated with all the classic childhood games you could imagine. We're talking 12 - 18" square Scrabble tiles, giant Barrel of Monkeys, enormous board games, and much, much more. Too, too cute!

Here is a picture of the Hollywood Studios tree...located right at the entrance of Disney's Hollywood Studios park.

The trees of lights are part of the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights that "dance" in time to Christmas music on the Streets of America at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I know, the quality's not great, but these last 3 from Hollywood Studios I took with my phone's camera.

Another shot of the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights...

Here's another shot of the Hollywood Studios tree base, all lit up this time, as the park prepares to close. Yes, Bubby & I closed the park down while the rest of the family was relaxing back in the room. But what's a momma to do when her little guy needs one last Tower of Terror fix??

Here's one of the trees gracing the stage of Epcot's Candlelight Processional...

Another shot of the same tree with different lighting as the choir starts of file in...

Same tree, but I love the windows and the horns in this shot.

We had to get a shot of Sissy & Bubby at the Christmas tree in Germany...the birthplace of the Christmas tree!

I know...it's not exactly a tree, but I photographed this Christmas garland at the entrance to Animal Kingdom just for Gal in the Middle and her love of butterflies...

So it's not really a Christmas tree, but how can you tour the trees of Disney World without including the Tree of Life?

And doesn't the snow on the peaks of Expedition Everest put you in the Christmas spirit? 5-year-old Bubby rode it 4 times. Ug.
Back to the trees, here's Mickey's tree in Camp Minnie-Mickey at Animal Kingdom.

And here are some of his Christmas garlands that decorate his gazebo at Camp Minnie-Mickey. We had lots of time to take pics because right before our turn to take our picture with him, he felt the need for a snack of Cheetos and Cheez-Its.

Can you tell his wreath is mouse-shaped?

And I loved the Mickey ornaments on his lanterns, too..

 Here's Minnie's tree in Camp Minnie-Mickey...

 and Goofy's tree...

 ...and Donald Duck's tree....
 ...and Pluto's tree.
Can you guess who this one belongs to? All the nuts are a dead giveaway! It's Chip & Dale's tree!

Here, my boys are being uncooperative picture subjects as I try in vain to pose them with the Mickey-shaped poinsettias outside the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. Did you know there are over 100,000 poinsettias used in Disney World's Christmas decorations? Wowsers!
Here's the big old tree inside the entrance to Magic Kingdom...
And the Mickey decorations on the streetlights of Main Street USA.

Pardon the blur...this is one of the wreaths by Toontown...captured as I was driven at top-speed around Tomorrowland's Speedway by Bubby...

I know, I know...another non-tree picture...but this wreath at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort was too cute not to share...

Here's that Magic Kingdom entrance tree again...this time all lit up for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

And who can resist Cinderella's castle all lit up in icicle lights?

And how often do you get to see Belle in her Christmas gown?

Back to the trees, here's Mickey's tree outside his house in Toontown.

And the stockings are all hung (and filled) by the chimney with care inside his house!

And ya gotta love the Disney magic...snowmen and short sleeves!
And look who we caught a glimpse of on our way out of the "World" and back home? Even Santa loves a little Disney magic at Christmastime!
