It's begining to sound a lot like Christmas...

Confession: I love Christmas music!

Today I was treated to a singalong at Bubby & Sissy's school, where they sang the very same songs I sang in the very same gym. They were fabulous, adorable, and I loved it!

I picked up another copy of George Strait's Fresh Cut Christmas today, too, and he's currently singing his heart out in the cd player of my car. And the case is propped on the passenger seat so I can enjoy the sights and the sounds of Christmas with George. Sigh.

Taylor Swift is crooning her Sounds of the Season on my iPad....and I'm looking forward to prying it from the grips of my children at some point so I can enjoy it, too.

And to make it even better, I snagged another great bargain on some more holiday tunes today: Sugarland's Gold & Green Album...just $5.99! How awesome is that?

I especially love Nuttin' for Christmas...we sing it all the time at our house...with a few lyrically modifications....

"Sissy's gettin' nuttin' for Christmas....Mommy & Daddy are mad..."

You get the idea.

Now that school is officially out for 2010, I plan to subject the kidders to endless Christmas carols until they beg for mercy. Or the Old Man cuts me off.

So sing, sing, sing! Christmas only comes once a year, you know! And if you can find a great bargain while you're at it, that makes the music that much sweeter! :)

  1. I just bought Daniel Renstrom (on suggestion from another blogger) Christmas CD - it's pretty good. Christian/Gospel. Still love my Sugarland CD though!

  2. My still trying to find my New Christy Minstrels, but I fairly happy with The Carpenters, Bing, Judy, Trisha Yearwood, and the Salisbury Boys Choir. I need to go find my Muppets Christmas with John Denver and Kenny G from the girls' room though!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!
