I settled on the coke-glass cupcakes.
Here are mine...
And here's Hoosier Homemade's inpiration:
I started with mini coke glasses from the Dollar Tree..for only 50 cents each!
I sprayed a little cooking spray in each, filled them with devil's food cake mix and baked them....
There was a little run over, but I scraped it off. Now I used a much darker cake mix than Hoosier Homemade, but that's ok...because coke is dark and, well, the real reason is I loooovvee chocolate. :)
I took some of my leftover white canned decorator icing and mixed it with a little leftover chocolate whipped icing for a coke-fizz colored concoction....
I filled a disposable icing bag, cut off the tip, then piped on the coke foam...big dots pulled straight up.
The crowning touch? Twizzlers cut in half and inserted for the straws.
The verdict? Mommy score!
I love it! What a really cute idea!!!
